Trust Wallet NFT Not Showing? How to Fix It
Troubleshoot to recover your digital collectibles quickly
Check Basic Wallet Sync & Network Configuration

If your Trust Wallet NFT isn’t showing up, the first thing to rule out is basic sync and network issues—these are the most common culprits, and I’ve seen this trip up even experienced crypto users. Last month, a friend transferred his limited-edition CryptoKitty NFT to his Trust Wallet, but it never appeared, even after waiting a full day. When we checked, his wallet was set to the Polygon network by default, but the NFT was minted on the Ethereum mainnet. Once he switched the network in one tap at the top of the NFT tab, the collectible loaded immediately. Don’t stop there, though: network nodes can get slow or out of sync, especially during high traffic on blockchains like Ethereum. To fix this, pull down the NFT tab to manually refresh, or go to Settings > Networks, select the chain your NFT is on, and toggle the node server to a different option (many wallets let you choose from multiple public nodes). Another tiny mistake is accidentally hiding an NFT—open the NFT tab, tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner, and confirm that “Show Hidden NFTs” is turned on. I once hid a test NFT while cleaning up my wallet, and spent 15 minutes panicking before realizing I’d toggled that setting off. It’s a quick fix that’s easy to miss.
Verify NFT Contract Address & Token ID Accuracy
Even if your network settings are perfect, incorrect identification details for your NFT will keep it from showing up. This is especially common when you manually add an NFT or copy-paste addresses from unreliable sources. Last year, I tried adding a rare Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT to my Trust Wallet, but the app kept saying no NFTs were found. The issue? I’d copied the contract address from a random forum post that had an extra space at the end—Trust Wallet’s scanner can’t ignore typos, so it looked for a non-existent contract. To fix this, always get your contract address and Token ID from official sources like OpenSea or the NFT’s official website. For example, on OpenSea, go to the NFT’s detail page, scroll down to the “Details” section, and copy the exact Contract Address and Token ID listed there. Make sure you’re using the right standard too: Trust Wallet supports both ERC-721 (for unique, one-of-a-kind NFTs like BAYC) and ERC-1155 (for multi-edition collectibles), so confirm your NFT isn’t a different standard that the wallet doesn’t support (though this is rare for major projects). If you manually added the NFT, double-check that you pasted the full address without any extra characters, and that the Token ID matches the one from the transaction you made.
Update Trust Wallet & Clear App Cache Safely
Outdated app versions or corrupted cache data can also cause NFT display issues, especially as Trust Wallet rolls out support for new blockchains and NFT standards. I ran into this problem recently when my Trust Wallet stopped showing my Azuki NFT, a popular Ethereum-based collection. The app was on version 6.1, which had a bug with Azuki’s recent metadata update. Updating to the latest version (6.4 at the time) fixed the issue immediately. To update, open your phone’s app store—Apple App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android—and search for Trust Wallet; tap “Update” if it’s available. If updating doesn’t work, clearing the app cache can eliminate corrupted temporary files, but you need to be careful not to delete your wallet data. Important note: never clear app data (which would remove your wallet and require your 12-word recovery phrase to restore) unless you’re 100% sure you have your backup phrase. To clear cache: for iOS, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Trust Wallet, then tap “Offload App” (this keeps your data but clears cache) or “Delete App” (but don’t do that unless you have your recovery phrase). For Android, go to Settings > Apps > Trust Wallet > Storage > Clear Cache. After clearing, restart the app and check your NFTs again. If none of these steps work, reach out to Trust Wallet’s support team through the app’s Help Center or the official Trust Wallet Reddit community—they can help with more complex issues like chain-specific compatibility or unconfirmed transactions.
